The rare and very precious treasures of the largest archaeological museum in Iran show the moving history of Persia from prehistoric times to the Islamic era. The stone tools of the Neanderthals are for sure worth visiting, as well as the finds of the excavation sites around Persepolis and Sosa . The salt was a natural preservative, so the archaeologists were given many good information about the diet, clothing and diseases back in the ancient world.
